Assigned and Assange

Lately i have had reasons to question if nuclear cleansing (or at least chemical lobotomy) would not be a good solution in regards to humanity, or at least parts of it. The smaller of these things, the dismissal of  charges against Julian Assange as his cockroaching have made it impossible to push any sane and orderly legal action against him. Not unlike a fucking ransomware he got to dictate his own terms. But in doing so i have a solid opinion of his guilt. Not that he cares... But in my eyes he will always be a small man with a James Bond complex (and as such is pretty rapey by default.) and i have no doubt that he committed sexual assault and rape... Perhaps not the assault kind.... But still. I am glad that the circus have come to an end and that no more tax payer crowns will be spent on the fucker. I do wished that he would have been sentenced but a gilded cage is still a cage.  As long as his arse remain locked up he will not be out and about sticking his Jimmy where it does not belong.

Now while Assange is man full of him self.. In the larger scheme he is fairly insignificant. Unlike the inbreed troglodytes who decided to ruin the life of the creator of the Assigned Male comic. This comic depicts the trials and tribulations of being a trans-person in the current world. And manages to put a bit of positivity in it. This ofc rubbed some people the wrong way and a bunch of proclaimed nazi organized a combined hack and dox attack. This.... Is some real fucking bullshit. You can dislike the trans-movement all you want and as long as you keep that to muttering while you hatewank in your chamber... Nobody can´t really do much.. freedom of mind and all that.

But if you bring that in to the real world, getting a fucking terrorist attack going... Because make no fucking mistake... That is what it is... While it may look like a individual to individual attack it is by extent a attack at an entire section of society, not to mention society it self as it denies the freedom of it´s members. Going that far.. is way to far.

So this form of terrorism do a good job of illuminating how far we as a society have to go. Why things like PRIDE and the brave people on the barricades are still needed. And why we (as in men... because as sad as i am to admit.. a lot of the shit posted online comes form people who identify as born male in a male body.) need to deal with the idiotic shit that previous generation have created, it is our legacy and our task to break down. Toxic masculinity, macho culture, homo and trans-phobia and all the other dumb shit way to many still hold as gospel.


Sadly i fear things will get worse before it gets better... That is how it usually goes. Fortunately i still have hope as many of the people who educate your kids... .. . They are on the side of inclusion and tolerance. They get raised right and sane...

How about the Assange use his new freedom to track these sort of networks down. But i somehow get a feeling that he would not, even if he could.

So the Swedish elcection… My thoughts.

So the votes have more or less been counted. I am sure someone will claim that this or that district have done something wrong but it will not matter. The result is in and it is pretty much as expected. We see a block shift from blue to red from conservative to socialist. This is the least shocker, it was pretty much expected as we have had two terms of a blue government and that has pretty much never happened. The red block… or to be more exact the red/green block (no you can´t expect them to be fast and hard hitting with large creatures and progression) consisting of the Social Democratic party and environmental party with the leftist party as an appendix. Are now in power but cannot scrape together a majority position. So it is a very hollow victory right now. The blue block consisting of the Moderat (liberal conservative capitalist), Peoplesparty (Liberal capitalist), Christian Democrats (conservative fundamentalist… ish… sort of… not really.-. but they try.)  and last but not least the Central party (formerly known as the farmers party. Environmental liberal) are by most predictions going to break up after this as some of the parties will be needed to work with the red block to stop the new power player on the arena.

The big shocker this year was the exceptional success of the very conservative Swedish Democrats (national conservative), a party that sprung from several neo-Nazi/facist organizations as members most likely realized that you get a lot more done with words then with a good set of brass knuckles. Their prominence has forced a situation where they sit on enough power to swing the result in voting. This position is usually the consolidation prize for losing an election and is not to be taken lightly. But as it sits now the rest of the political parties have made a more or less silent pact to not work with SD in any way shape or form. But as I said this force the red to ally them self with new partners and will most likely cause some very intense months and has the potential danger of a do-over of the election.

The other thing that I am sure some people are shocked by is that the pink Feminist Initiative (feminist) did not make the cut and did not get enough support to actually make it in to government. Now this is not unusual it did after all take SD about five times as long time to get any traction and even if F! do have a strong grassroots movement they have been unable to present the sort of concrete goals outside of their core focus that is needed to really break through. Their biggest challenge is to keep the momentum for the next four years until the next election.

So here we are… I am going to come clean and break that social taboo of anonymity. I voted green this year and the vote fell the environmental party… I was considering going with the central party but I honestly can´t stand their frontline politicians. If you have an opinion about that… Good for you.

Now what I was looking forward to after the election was for things to calm down, the F! footsoldiers to move on from social media warfare and get on with the fun job of making politics but seeing as that will not happen I guess I will have the never-ending joy of four more years with them… Not that I dislike what they are trying to do, just that the constant need for them to be pep and high energy is honestly draining. By the same merit I am sure that SD aren’t going to media train their members… Or at least get them a VPN… So I will continue to get running commentary on every time one of them act like an idiot… By now this holds the same news value that rain is in fact wet.

Also i´d like to turn directly to a group of people I have seen this year, they have popped up every now and then and I have chosen to call them the “but dude 1920” group.

They usually post something along the lines of how SD have the same start as the national socialist party in Germany and we all know how that turned out.. wink wink, nudge nudge.

You people are morons… Real, honest true blue morons. First off I find it very unlikely that they will ever make it to single majority. Add to that some simple things such as mass communication and the fact that information today is pretty much impossible to stop, We alo knew what happened in Germany before and under WW2… I have a hard time seeing a bunch of camps being built to house the unwanted… No sly jokes about urban development areas… Thank you very much. I also have a hard time seeing Europe engulfed in a war that mask these things going on.

So please… go fornicate with a wall-socket… be sure to use water-based lube.

 

Last but not least I would like to ask the more idealistic people if they could decide on if they like to eradicate a set of ideas or if “ideas cannot die” because those two to me seem like they would combine very poorly.  I understand the whole desire to eradicate negative behavior dystopian style… After all we have enough narrow-minded fuckwits as it is and I agree that we could stand to lose a few. I also understand the whole “ideas cannot die” in the context of humanitarian ideals under an oppressive regime. But for it to be true it has to be universal and if it is universal it applies to the kind of people who find political parties such as Swedish Democrats so appealing So when you say that you like to “get rid” of the racists you are at the same time eroding the statement that “ideas cannot die” because you belive that you can remove the racist ideas from society.

 

So I say... pick one and stick with it because otherwise you look like a fool.

 

So there we have it, my thoughts about the elections of 2014. I am disappointed that I am not surprised. And seeing as there was disruptions at some of the voting stations by what seems to be fascists/Nazi I think we need to revoke their rights again. I was willing to give them a chance to act within the system. To behave and prove that they have matured beyond the nazi-skinhead movement… But it seems they have not. Beyond that things will be pretty much as usual for a few months, apart from the weakening of the Krona but I am sure it will pick back up again later… Also I like to “congratulate” Sjöbo och Hörby…. I have some ideas for new slogans for you… Seeing as you have some new USP… Call me…

 

And with that I turn the bullhorn over to the left wing activists to do their thing, fight what I am sure they see as a war and let them dig their trenches. They honestly seems to like it so I usually leave any hot and bother idealism to them.

 

Yeah… One last thing… If you read this as a voter of SD… And somehow get the idea that I do not despise you from the bottom of my heart… You are wrong… I do think that you are a full blown moron with a grasp of reality that could not hold a feather… But as long as your party is not banned… you have every right in the world to vote for them.. And I have every right in the world to see you as a air-headed moron.

WTFIWWY Guns stars and other blunt objects.

So today I intend to write about three things that caught my attention over the last couple of days. Now the first story is one of rather light-hearted insanity that happens when nobody spend more than five minutes on a design concept. Recently the clothes retail chain of Zara introduced a new children’s shirt. It was a pretty run of the mill item, long sleeves and a white and blue horizontal striping… Now had it not been for the embroidery on it nobody would have raised an eyebrow. Unfortunately the company choose to put a “gold” sheriff star on the right chest… Even more unfortunate was the fact that the star in question had six points…

As you can see some people felt this a bit too close for comfort. But fortunately I am inclined to believe Zara when they said it was a simple oversight and it was supposed to be inspired by wild west motifs. After all never attribute to malice what can be explained by sheer incompetence. After all this shirt must have taken a full 10 minutes to design and to ask that anyone spend even twice that doing research before they clear it is demanding too much it seems. Any way… What baffles me is that this went through the entire pipeline in to production and nobody ever made the connection. Makes me curious what other sort of shit you could sneak by the Zara QC department. I also understand that the designer might not be of European decent and thus do not have such a strong connection to the imagery of WW2 Jewish persecution. But as I said a bit of research goes a long way. Now I wanted to start this post of lightly as the other two items I have today just make me angry… On several levels.

The second story... well you know how teenagers can be all up in your face and have more attitude then is good for them… THAT IS NOT A REASON TO CHASE THEM AND TRY TO HIT THEM WITH BATONS…. Apparently two or more children got in to an argument with two adults who felt that the proper way to deal with the situation was to pull out weapons and chase the children all under the age of 15 around the yard of the school. Fortunately nobody was hurt and I would guess that the psychological trauma was kept to a minimum too. Now as I said kids that age think they are immortal but trying to prove them wrong on that account is not the way to go about it. Just step away. Now according to some accounts there might be some xenophobic asshattery involved too. I wish I could say this surprise me but let´s be honest… I grew up with news reports on the neo-“Nazi” skinhead movement in Sweden… That someone confuses a balled up first as a good way to express their xenophobic opinions is nothing new. But don´t pass your fucked up way of looking at reality to the very children who are going to try and change the world. And if you for some reason feel threatened by 12-14 year olds… Seek help.

Then again… Kids… Don´t harass people and if you get harassed… call the police or report it to your teachers. Trying to pick a fight is never a good idea.

Now speaking of picking fights… My last story has a man who picked a fight with both fate and basic science. Also I like to say that any human life lost is a tragedy, especially to family and relatives… This is good dam Darwin award material…

As the story goes a Las Vegas gun-instructor lost his life after his customer lost control of their fully automatic Uzi sub-machine gun… The shooter in question was a 9 YEAR OLD GIRL… WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND LET A CHILD FIRE AN AUTOMATIC WEAPON…  Just because it is legal does not make it a good idea… Drinking drain-pipe cleaner is technically legal… But that does not make it you Friday night pick-me-up. So because some parent felt that eh best way to spend a Sunday was to teach little Suzie how to use a deadly weapon we have a 9-year old child that is scarred for life and a family who is one member short. What the fuck is wrong with you people… Seriously… And people ask me why I have such a strong stance on the whole “no guns” policy. It is because shit like this. A completely pointless death. Want to teach your kid to shoot, go ahead… it is legal… But let them stay at the .22 level of shooting until they are… oh I don´t know… 16 perhaps.

Now I like to point out that I am in no way against engaging children in precision sports, I did my self for a very short time practice archery and it is a good way to train focus and eye-hand coordination. But not with a damm Uzi… But I guess he saw himself as a responsible instructor… After all he did not put a MAC-10 in the hands of the child… Because that would have been irresponsible.

What´s next… letting 2-year olds shoot shotguns…

So yes I feel some sympathy for the man´s family but letting children on to a shooting range and you are asking for someone to get hurt or killed sooner or later.

Well… To next time. Keep safe and don´t give your children a Uzi.

WTFIWWY… Hammer-time F!

So… We are moving in to election times here in Sweden and this equals the erecting of what is called a “Valstuga”, a small shed that each local branchy of a political party put up on a busy square or similar place, usually they all end up in the same place and in essence create a political shantytown. =P so these small sheds anyway work as storage for marketing material and basic shelter from the Swedish summers. Now this is not anything uncommon... it happens each election but so far this year we have had 2 stories in national media about incidents connected to these valstugor.

The first one happened about a week ago as two carpenters working on erecting these sheds where attacked by a man who complained about the noise and then proceeded hit them with a hammer, he fortunately failed to cause any serious damage and retreated back towards his apartment but thanks to several witnesses police could apprehend the man without much of a incident. According to some the man did raise the hammer towards the police but either finally came to his senses or was incapable of getting to the police. It would fortunately turn out that the man had no political motives with his attack... He was just under the influence… deeply under… .. . Now i agree that people hammering away can be a very annoying sound… But the answer is never to pick up a hammer and try to beat the sound out of people… It does not work. It is also pretty stupid to do this in broad daylight as other people tend to notice your impromptu xylophone performance.

The second story is perhaps at the same time both less and more severe, but it does involve a valstuga and someone taking offense. 

It would seem that during the night one or more people felt that they had to redecorate the valstuga of up and coming political party F! (Read as fi, short for feminist initiative) using the Mythbuster school of re-decorating. After breaking down a wall they simply gutted the small shed and left a fairly neat pile of tinder outside. Much to my surprise they did not lit it on fire… This otherwise seems to be the primary form of entertainment for hooligans. Now again as I said before there are good and bad ways to express frustration, tearing down valstugor is not one of them... All that says is that you are immature and have the mental capacity of pack of instant-noodles. Especially as these places are usually manned during daytime by people who want nothing more than to argue over the finer points of how and why this or that party should in fact be named guildmaster and be given all the guildbank privileges. Then again I am sure the F! Will not complain about this in the long run as this give them a lot of free publicity and a free box of sympathy point, and traditional marketing is expensive these days. 

Now why I bring these two stories up is because we are still fairly early in the game for the not-so-Iron throne and I hope this is not an indication of days to come. I like living in a place where political violence for the most part consist of the very edge cases of conservative or communist parties having their Friday night love sessions and the rest posting angry rants on the internet. But this year we have two parties that are stirring the pot... so who knows.

So all I can say is.. People if you feel that you need to express your dislike with this or that party… either do it on election day (honestly the most efficient... but also the least individually visible way) or at least keep it civil and try to not cause bodily or financial harm to people…  But I guess that is hoping for too much.
